Since 2009, Illustration, etc. (Rosemary Cunningham) has been in Glasgow creating hand drawn ink illustrations that surprise and delight. Sometimes the illustration goes free-range, painting outdoor murals, running workshops, working with the public, in schools, doing live illustration at events, doing talks or making artifacts for ‘mobile museums’.
My name is Rosemary Cunningham and Illustration, etc. is what I do. I graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2007. Since then I have found my illustration niche with work that plays with the world around me, presenting it in a new way. Designs like the Glasgow Alphabet take familiar local sights and uses the ABC as a framework to make things a bit more fun and visually interesting! My real love is pictures and words – I’m keen on including education, heritage and people's stories in my work which explains my love of facts, chat and maps!
More recently, I have become a bit more free-range, running workshops, traveling to schools, hospitals and community groups to develop ideas in tandem with them. I don't believe people when they tell me "I can't draw", or "I'm no good at art". Everyone has something to contribute and can be creative, they sometimes just need a starting point so they can enjoy it.
Here you can see some of my past clients. We do projects with both organisations and individuals, so if you'd like to contact, commission or work with illustration, etc. then please get in touch HERE.
