A set of three postcards and accompanying zine.

ZINE
This is a full colour record of all three Fragments comics, first exhibited in Kilmartin Museum’s special HOLDFAST exhibition in Autumn 2025. The original torn rag paper, ink illustrated and gold thread comic can be viewed HERE with an explanation. The folded A3 zine is a complete miniature record of the Fragments comics; titles are Golden Threads, Hornwrack and Cannot Stay. I made these fragmented comics based on experiences at a snorkelling and drawing residency in Argyll.

POSTCARDS
Each of the postcards showcases a detail from one of the comics, ‘Golden Threads’; a short narrative exploring the underwater experience of snorkelling sitting alongside a snippet of Gaelic faerie folklore. The front of each postcard is full colour and the reverse has a miniature full version of the comic - so you can see your fragment in the context of the whole.
